Anywhere you go right now you’ll find Pepsi bottles with a bright yellow cap indicating that it is part of some game/promotion. The thing is, when you win, those same stores that are selling the game-pieced bottles of soda won’t accept them. I’ve got a cap with an instant winner of another bottle of Pepsi on it that I’ve now sort of made a game out of trying to cash in. The grocery store where I bought the original bottle? Nope. The gas station convenience store? Uh-uh. Surely OXXO must take these things? What planet are you from? If I were to instant win a million pesos I’d be very nervous about collecting.
Today we went to the beach. We live in Mexico because even on the coldest days, like today at around 78 degrees, it is still plenty nice enough to be out on the sand.
Mazatlan deserves some credit, at least from what I’ve seen so far, for having such clean water. The water is shallow and clear—perfect for the kids.
Tonight Ouest was playing with her little doll house when Lowe came over and started destroying things—as I’m quickly learning really is what little boys do. Ouest said, “Leave me alone Lolo, I’m not in the mood today.” And to think that we once worried about her speech.
