Ouest has been asking for a kite forever. I’m not even sure why we haven’t gotten one sooner, but today we noticed these cheapos in some random clothing store in the mall and picked up a couple. To say that Ouest was excited just wouldn’t do the emotion justice. The entire mall knew how super-duper excited she was.

Ouest is outgrowing her naps. Some days we try and lay her down and it is obvious it just isn’t going to happen. Only a month ago she would take a nap like clockwork. Now, if she doesn’t say she is sleepy she probably isn’t going to lay down. However, she does tell us when she is sleepy with surprising regularity. Even today at the pool, swimming and playing, and then, “Papa, me sleepy.” Home and straight to bed.
