Honestly, there isn’t a lot going on in St. Croix right now. We spend almost all of our time on the boat or swimming around it. But occasionally we do feel the need to get out and stretch our legs a bit. So, off on another car day adventure, we hiked up to an old lighthouse. The lighthouse still stands, but next to it is now some boring scaffolding with a solar panel and light sitting up on top. I have to imagine the days of a proper lighthouse being erected are long gone.
Not sure what Ouest saw on the floor, but I’m pretty sure it was the end of the inside adventures.
Driving past this old church we had to stop. I don’t know why we’re only drawn to things that are old, dilapidated, or some combination of both.
Ouest thoughtfully went around and replaced flowers that had blown over.
The next morning we hiked the East End trail. Perfect weather and a nice easy stroll with views out over the Marine Park.
If someone had sat up and yelled, “Booo!” I would have been ready for it.

Super photos. Have been to St. Croix many times, but never seen any of this. Thanks!
Looks like you need a return trip!
