This is an active yacht club right in downtown San Juan, Puerto Rico, yet somehow we ended up squeezed right in between two boats that have clearly been here since the 2017 hurricanes and did not fare very well. On the plus side, both boat’s bottoms are excellent reef habitats now.
We’re still just getting our bearings on the area a bit. Rented a car in order to hit up the laundromat and grocery, then Ali directed us to the Santurce neighborhood where street art and huge murals are everywhere. The neighborhood was extremely quiet, and we enjoyed wandering around a bit in a new place, taking in the beautiful art.

Stay tuned for a developing storm!
On the lookout everyday! Hurricane season is heating up.
Thanks for sharing. Beautiful artwork.
Love all the Art, kids look SOOOOOOOO big!
Stay safe!
Please be careful. This is looking to be a very active season. Do you have evacuation plans in place?
We know it is a risk and we will not be onboard for any thing that pops up. Sure is looking active but staying away so far. Mid-August already – come on let’s do this!
