Lowe is great at drifting off into his own mind to find entertaining games to play. He’ll hop in the dinghy and do a hundred circles around the boat. I don’t know the exact game, and probably wouldn’t understand it all if he tried to explain it to me anyway. Nice way to wind down towards the end of another day.
Sunrise is a nice time here. Coffee on the top deck is the morning ritual before the day kicks into gear.
This little patch is near where we’re anchored. It’s a little hill that comes up to about eight feet deep from twenty, and gives us all a nice spot to goof around in the water. I also like it because the colors are always so beautiful. I like to just sink to the bottom and sit there for a couple minutes while the kids whizz around me kicking up dust like they are riding dirt bikes on a farm road somewhere.

Love this! Your kids are such water babies!
We started them young. 😉
Wonderful webbed feet! Goodonyas
You aren’t kidding. They kill me.
One of our favorite things is the quiet time. On the bridge or in the cockpit depending on where the sun is.
I retire in 1 month and 18 days. (but who’s counting). We plan to spend the entire summer on the boat with small breaks to go home and do laundry, check the mail and cut grass.
We will be in the quietest port in Michigan; really looking forward to those misty mornings on Lake Huron!
Wow! 1 month 11 days! Happy for you! Sounds like an awesome plan to me. Congrats.
I especially love your underwater shots :]

Thanks.
The anchor chain photo is awesome!
It really is amazing – that is all that is holding us in our spot (and the anchor of course).
