This afternoon we went to a VW get together downtown. Synchros and Vanagons, not the good ol’ splitties, but still a fun gathering. We got to meet and hang out with a lot of people who had followed our VW bus adventures as well as a couple of sailors who swung in to see us. Lots of kids too, bowling in the parking lot while the adults drank good beer and got yelled at by the staff for doing so. Ahh well, blame it on the group mentality. Good times.

Ouest has gotten a ton of hand-me-down clothing in the past few days. Lowe, not so much. My cousin’s girls gave her a whole bunch of dress-up dresses. You know, the kind you wear around the house. Apparently playing princess or something. Well Ouest has yet to learn about princesses or dressing up. So she sees these dresses and she’s all, “Put that pink one on me and let’s rock this town.”
