My car, my beautiful car. The Porsche has been sitting in a garage up here the past couple of years while we’ve been off running around without her. But still, when I uncovered her today, unhooked the battery tender, and pumped the gas relentlessly, she started right up. She ran like the day I left her, idling sweetly, if not a little richly.
Ali and I jumped in and took off while the kids were otherwise distracted. Driving down the road we felt like we could just keep driving forever. This car has definitely got an epic road trip in its future. I told Ali I had a credit card in my pocket and that we could be across the border in two days. She hesitated a split second though, so we turned back.
Ouest got into the 12v motorcycle today. She just got on and rode. When I showed her that in addition to the foot pedal there was a twist throttle turbo booster she was gone.
Tire swing Ouest? Hell yeah, as high as you can push it please.
Lowe spent the day walking. Just walking. He explored every nook and cranny and never slowed down.
Fun day with the whole family out and about moving from one thing to another. Only problem was that it wasn’t July so we could head out on the lake as well.
