After lunner today along the Gold Coast tourist section of town we took a walk inland through the neighborhoods. There is some money back there. There were a number of homes that took up entire city blocks as well as plenty of shabby little places tucked in and around corners. Everything was walled off or barred in though, and the only people we saw were housekeepers. It certainly didn’t have a friendly Mexican vibe to it—more of a buy it and protect it because it’s mine vibe. We did however discover a swing set and an “aguafall” for the kids to have fun on for a bit. When I say discovered, I mean discovered—it is not always easy to find a park in Mexico.
