Staying in hotels is for suckers. For the price of one hotel room we’ve got ourselves a three-bedroom condo with private elevator, pool, and about anything else you can think of. Best of all though is the location just a few blocks down the malecon from the park and Old Town. Last time Ali and I were in Mazatlan we finally came around and decided we like the place. We’re liking it even more now.
Ouest got to unload the grammy bag today. Piles of books, clothes, puzzles, wings, and toys. About a half an hour after the unveiling we were all out in the kitchen when I realized Ouest wasn’t with us. I peeked around the corner to the bedroom and there she was with a pile of books on her lap, flipping quietly through one after the other. So typical of her.
The kids have been super excited about seeing Grammy again. We’ve been counting down the days with Ouest. She kept saying things like, “Two more days go to Grammy’s house.” We’d try and correct her by telling her we were going someplace new, not Grammy’s house, but she wouldn’t change her ways. So today it was no big surprise when she said, “Me like Grammy’s house.”

Love the new format, there’ve been many times I’ve want to post a comment about a certain subject…yaaayyy. I can TOTALLY relate to gramma being there to visit, I’m here in Kuwait with Conner, loving every second of it. Merry Christmas Pat, Ali, Ouest and Lowe (and gram!!)
