It’s not often I get to meet up with my business partner—really, any time we are able to meet up with friends it is a random occurrence in which we all end up at the same place at the same time. But here we were, just an hour apart, so we headed out for a day of fun on the Lewis River. Swimming in a cold mountain river meandering through a forest is a pretty quintessential Washington experience.
The water was cold enough to suck the breath out of you as you hit it, but that didn’t stop anyone. Clean fresh water is clean fresh water, and demands a swim, even if it is freezing.
Ouest thought the walk-in closet would make for a fun bedroom, so she spent the afternoon moving a bed in and decorating. Thirty minutes after putting the kids to bed, the mattress was being hauled back out into the bedroom.
