This morning we wandered around Old Town Mazatlan for a bit, had some breakfast, and took a few pictures. Mazatlan surprises me every time with how interesting a place it is. Seems like it should be all about tourism, and it is I suppose if you head to the north side of town, but in the Old Town section it’s really got that OG feel to it still.
While down there we had a big group of kids who looked like they’d just come out of an all-night club make a bee-line for the kids. The girls fawned over Lowe with all the excitement usually reserved for a rockstar, and all I could think was, “This kid is never going to suffer for female attention.”
We went to the beach in the afternoon and let me tell you, it is awesome to have Lowe finally reach an age where he can just play in the sand. Not eat it, not fall face first into it, but actually walk around, dig holes, and push cars; just be a kid. This cruising season is going to be so much easier than the last in that respect.
