We broke the chains that bound us and headed out today. Three miles and half an hour later we were anchored in Honeymoon Cove. There are three little inlets here, the smallest of which is really scenic, but really tiny. It was open when we got here so I motored in between the cliffs, but felt claustrophobic before we’d even considered dropping the anchor. We backed out slowly, like a car in a crowded parking lot, and chose the deep middle lobe instead. That’s all it took to get out of Puerto Escondido and back out to the islands.

We enjoyed a day sailing out to that cove and hiking up for the views a few years ago. There is a restaurant North of Loreto (7km?) set apart on its own small bay. A friendly family run place and pretty good food if you feel like a splurge. My daughter loved the very friendly pets.
