My dad was in town this weekend so we spent some time over at his house where the leaves had piled up a foot deep. Clean-up had begun on them but the kids dove in and spread them around the yard again so it looked nice.

It’s cold here and we’re starting to feel closed off inside the house. Back to the boat in a couple of days where we can hopefully spread ourselves around outdoors again. Ask Ouest if she is ready to go back to Mexico and she answers with one word, “Pool.” It’s been great to be able to spend so much time with the family, but we are definitely ready to be home again. Feeling a little homesick.
