Frederiksted has been an easy place for us to settle into. A quiet little town with some 1800s buildings, plenty of rough edges, “colorful” locals, a pretty waterfront, great snorkeling, decent access to basic groceries, a nice laundromat, and a good anchorage. As far as a liveaboard life location goes, there is very little to complain about. The days and weeks are ticking by easily and enjoyably.
Shame the library isn’t open.
After Ouest’s birthday it was time to get a Christmas tree up. For me that includes constructing bailing wire ornament hangers.
A simple Caribbean Christmas takes shape.
Clear waters off the swim platform.
Seeing turtles resting/sleeping by wedging themselves underneath things on the bottom takes some getting used to.

The pier is also famous for seahorses — great photos.
The Whim Great House is a worthy expedition.
Point Udall for sunrise is exceptional.
Happy New Year!
That Whim house looks gorgeous. We are going to try and get to that! Udall looks good, need a car for that one. Maybe a weekend car to see the sites…
Thanks Captain!
