For whatever reason nobody else seems to come to Francis Bay. We had the place to ourselves, and the turtles seemed especially happy to hang out here. So we just hung out, swimming, working, and playing. As far as cruising conditions go the bay is perfectly situated for the steady easterly trade winds. Nice breeze all the time, but completely protected from waves and swell. Life is good.
It was a surprise to have a boat full of Census 2020 workers come around. We had this guy on, answered questions for half an hour, and were officially counted.
Cleaning up after another long day in the sun, sand, and water.
After a few days in Francis Bay we needed to restock the fridge, so we moved back to Caneel Bay. Bouncing back and forth just a couple miles at a time is a nice change of pace.

Spectacular photography as always!
Thanks, Patty. It wasn’t too hard to do at this place.
Just wondering if you guys were caught by the Saharan dust cloud, or affected in any way by it? Was just reading about it, looked like it had some impact on the area where you are!
Yes! Couple of posts up from here. It covered our skies for 2-3 days, and our boat inside and out!
