When I flipped on my computer last night I was met with a black screen and a steady beeping. My only thought, “Unbelievable.” I know I’m limping along with this computer at this point, but why does it always break down at the most inopportune times? Fortunately there is this thing called Google where you find that you are never the first to have any problem. It didn’t take long to figure out that if I took my computer apart removed a couple of microchippy looking things, switched them around a bit, and sealed her back up, I should be up and running again. And I was. Ali was not impressed. I really should have replaced this jerry rigged contraption months ago. I’ve so turned into a cruiser. This thing will have bailing wire on it before I am through.

Pool. Ouest was giddy, and I do mean giddy, at the mention of going to the pool this afternoon. She was jumping out of her skin with excitement as we sat at the edge of the pool and told her to wait while we got Lowe ready. And when it was time she barrelled in laughing and screaming. God I love her enthusiasm for the water. She could be at Disneyworld surrounded by Mickey Mouse and all the princesses the place has and if I said, Ouest do you want to go back to the motel and swim in the pool, she would turn to Snow White and say, “Pool. Going to the pool. Bye.”
