Back in La Paz a month after we left. Ali says it felt like longer, which I can’t necessarily take as a good thing. It’s fair to say that we’re both looking forward to next season with Lowe a little older. All the naps, and the crawling, make for some challenging times aboard our little home. But the challenges are still worth it. Ouest and Lowe are both growing, laughing, playing, swimming, eating healthy, and learning the things we want them to instead of what a television tells them to. It’s a pretty good life on the whole.
Ouest and I had some time to kill this morning before we could head in to Marina de La Paz because of the tidal currents so we explored the beaches of Puerto Balandra a little further. There was a sand dune made of flour which she climbed, jumped, and rolled in over and over. She enjoyed it so much that when it was time to leave I took off her swimsuit to get her washed up, turned my back, and in seconds she was half way back up the dune buck naked. She really needed a dousing after that.
We pulled in to the marina this afternoon ready for a few days where we can simply step off the boat with the kids and go for a walk.
