Ali took the kids to a play area the other day. Ouest started playing with a girl who asked her name. Ouest is still struggling with the S sound, so Ouest sounds a lot like Wet. She told her her name a couple of times and then the girl turned and yelled down, “Daddy, this girls name is Water.”
Ouest, in a what-is-this-idiot-talking-about voice said loudly, “My name’s not Agua.” She then left the girl and went back to playing with Lowe. A minute later Ali overheard her talking to him, “Lowe, my name’s not Agua.” As in, what the hell was wrong with that girl?
Lowe, for his part, continues to call her Da.
“Lowe, who is your family?”
“Mama, Papa, Da, Me.”
It wasn’t until the next day when I was looking through pictures that I realized what all the tacky red and white flowery decorations were about at this Mexican restaurant. Ugh, people and their holidays.
So, the bus is coming together. I’ve not been great at documenting it, but I assure you I am making steady progress. Today was probably the worst day as far as weather went, but the most satisfying as far as work went. Of course I forgot the camera at home. But I will say that three panels went up on the ceiling today, and it felt damn good.
I’ve framed out a few other things. I realized the passenger footwell had plenty of room for storage. There’s a full six inches of free space back there, so I’m dabbling a bit in cabinetry. And for the record, those are just plywood backers, not the finished product.
Eleven degrees below zero.

Is it too late to add extra equipment to the bus?

The copyright police will probably get that, so who knows if it will work. From Top Gear.
Yes, they banned it. Can’t have 1 whole minute of your TV program viewed on the net. People might want to watch the whole thing…
Well done so far on the Bus! Love the comments from Ouest, very funny. My Son is four as well and I can picture him having a similar response because he has corrected people that don’t quite understand his pronunciation of Will.
