Having fun around here with Grammy the past couple days. During past visits Ouest was never all that involved with her Grammy. She’d hold hands and play on occasion, but this visit has been a complete change. She is all about Grammy now. She’s crawling on her, hugging her completely out of the blue, showing her things, playing games with her, getting lipstick applied, etc.. When my mom came on the boat today Ouest immediately took her by the hand and led her up to her room to show her all her stuff. Pretty sweet. Lowe likes Grammy too, so long as she doesn’t go trying to pick him up. When that happens he looks as if he ate a lemon.

We went to town today and walked around the main plaza, the cathedral, and the surrounding area. We stumbled across a fish taco stand that might possibly have scooped up the number one spot on the fish taco list. It wasn’t really time to eat, but Ouest and I did our duty anyway and scarfed a couple down. They were huge, but Ouest still tucked hers away. They were that good.

Also came across an excellent bookstore, and seeing as Grammy was standing there with a credit card in hand we scooped up an actual cruising guide for Baja, the Spanish Cat in the Hat, and a couple of others. The owner kept asking us if that was it until I finally told her that if she was smart she’d stay quiet and take her time ringing things up. Good book store in Mexico, Grammy, credit card, you do the math.
