It’s been a few weeks since I downloaded Ouest’s pictures off her camera.
I need to talk to her about this picture. She took this from a treehouse at our campground in Teotihuacan. She was explicitly instructed to avoid this particular hole in the patio. She swore she would. I trusted her because I had no reason not to. Someone needs to explain to her that you don’t take photos of yourself doing things that you’re not supposed to be doing.
Lowe took a couple portraits as well.
The surf got a little big for a few days.
Our kids don’t want to do anything without their best friend, Xochitl.
Weekly Sunday baseball. Thirty pesos for adults, kids free. It’s a fun crowd making plenty of noise. They cheer their home team despite the pounding their fifty-ish pitcher is taking.
Nothing says baseball like beer, peanuts, and ceviche.
This little girl has been hanging around for a few days now. Beach dogs come and go fairly frequently, but she seems happy to stay put.

*Snort* I love that you’re focused on making sure she understands how to get away with the infraction (vs. not committing the infraction itself). I had a similar conversation with my stepson once…”If you’re going to have the party and then deny it, you need to make sure you don’t throw away the beer bottles in OUR trashcan. Use the neighbors’.”
Ouest takes after her Papa in the photo department. Good eye for a young lady
Aw, don’t be too hard on Ouest. She has an adventurous spirit. Wonder where she got that from?
My 6 year old grand daughter is the same way. I tell her several times not to do so,etching and she does it anyway. Just takes her time doing it
Technically, she did avoid the hole, it was the edge you should have told her to stay away from…js, lol.
acute observation!
I love the pictures, especially the baseball pictures, and Lowe going under. What is it about the game that fascinates us so? Although I only played a little little league when I was a Kid, and never saw a major or minor league game, I dream about hitting the ball at times. The pitcher is really doesn’t make the best impression.
Wow, the kids take great pictures … helps to be in such a beautiful place too!
Cute dog, and good size if not just a puppy. It’s not too big for the camper, and it could keep any cats outside. Well, Ouest has a good sense of balance or you’d have found out sooner. But she should still learn to not get caught.

Heh . . . I love that the talk will be about avoiding incriminating evidence, not the crime itself. And it’ll be coming from the guy who took the kids into the croc-infested coastal swamp, then blogged the gory details. 😉
Oh, and I also note that the young Bum who had such contempt for older cruisers with their ubiquitous white beards is quickly catching up to the crowd. Good times.

I was just trying the beard on. Ali came right out and told me it made me look like an old man, so it’s long gone now. My suspicions confirmed.
Happy Birthday Ouest! Have a wonderful, special day!
