Busy day today. There was still a bunch of things to do at the boat, and the big one was replacing a bilge pump and making sure both of them were doing the job correctly. So Ouest and I left early, stopped at Zaragozas for a pump, returned the rental car, and got to work. I worked, not her. She did play very well all by herself while I covered myself in oily bilge sludge. Back in the city Lowe and Ali were in the air conditioned safe haven, Walmart.
We were both exhausted by the time we left the boat. It was humid as can be and there was not a breath of wind on the boat. We downed some lemonade and climbed on the bus. Two minutes later she was out.
A quesadilla done right. A plate-sized, thicker than normal, taco-shaped corn tortilla, oaxaca cheese, some pork, cilantro, onions, and spicy red salsa. And no, it doesn’t get cut up into baby food triangles.
