Port Vila was a great place to land for a few days, with plenty to do and easy access to anything we could need. For a week we stayed busy with friends, stocked up on groceries, hit a movie on a rainy day, and ate out a lot.
A bunch of us hit up a beach restaurant for a friend’s 50th birthday, complete with a big fire dancing show.
It was time for a haircut. This place was hopping, so I pulled up a chair. The kid clearly didn’t know quite what to do with my hair, so the manager came over and took over, giving him a lesson with me as the dummy. Turned out pretty good.
The cucumbers here are massive.
The museum was a nice stop, and one of the few things to do for free around here.
I know I keep raving about the beef here in Vanuatu, but come on, this is a beautiful burger. We hit this food truck up a couple times.

I want that burger!
I spent the same week there moored behind you guys and you make it look really great, well done. I also rented a scooter and went all the way around Efate Island, that was cool.
It was great meeting you, Hugh. I reckon we’ll cross paths again somewhere.
