Look who is sitting in that barber chair. That’s right, Ouest got her first haircut. She’ll be four in a week, so I think it may have been time. Up to now it’s only been Ali giving her a trim, and even that was only two times.
She did exactly what Lowe does in that chair—zoned out. They both put on this thousand-yard stare and don’t flinch until it is all over. Ouest had been so worried for so long about getting too much cut off, despite our repeated promises that it would only be this tiny little speck of hair coming off the ends. But today she bit the bullet and got it done—admittedly this was mainly because we finally bit the bullet and promised her ice cream afterwards.
Of course wouldn’t you know it, Lowe would not get near the chair today. Kids, man.

That look on Ouest’s face as she’s sitting in the barber’s chair and looking directly into the lens – I swear I’ve seen that before . . . oh yeah, here it is . . . http://tribeofhope.files.wordpress.com/2011/08/angry-cat2.jpg
Hair cut looks great! and I laughed at the turbo t-shirt, cant escape the kids movies
Our kids have yet to even see one of these kids movies, and yet it seems (for boys especially) there is no avoiding these movie advertisement t-shirts.
And the engine?
What, you think I’ve decided to end that story? You’ll hear about it when there’s something to say about it. The head is in the shop.
Are you getting professional haircuts now too, Pat?
Are you kidding? And throw away 40 pesos! Never.
Freaking love it. Don’t change, Pat.
