Lowe was working on his walking again this afternoon while the boat was a madhouse of Ali trying to cook the kids some dinner, Ouest bouncing off the walls playing something, and me just trying to reign it all in somehow. That’s when Ali said, “There it is, second kid syndrome.” With Ouest we would have been standing there with the video camera trained on her for hours on end waiting for that first solid step, while with Lowe we were only half paying attention as he was essentially teaching himself to walk. So, dutifully I grabbed the camera and this is what I got.
Spent another day just bumming around Agua Verde. Ouest and I went out during Lowe’s nap and played at the playground, i.e. worked on our tans. There is so much sun here and so very little relief from it. At the moment there are about ten boats in the south anchorage here and yet we nearly went the entire day without seeing anybody. We’re all just holed up in our little underwater caves, only coming up for a quick cooling swim before disappearing again.

The photos from this blog post look like something out of Mad Max. I’ve gone back and I’m reading all the monohull adventures. Thanks so much for taking the time to post all this. Baja is one of my favorite places and seeing all this desert and the sea of cortez is very nice on this rain sodden Florida day.
