We took the kids to a nearby farm today where the main goal I believe is to have you buy pumpkins, but outside are a bunch of goats and chickens milling about for anyone to go and have a poke at. That’s where I learned that it isn’t pumpkins they are trying to sell you, it is corn. Handfuls of corn for a quarter. Have you ever seen a goat eat a handful of corn? It takes about three seconds. We had to start doling it out to the kids four kernels at a time.
Please excuse Ali’s unfortunate wardrobe today. This is what happens when you visit Minnesota in October and you are too cheap to go buy your own warm clothes. Man sized sweatshirts and some sort of strange shoes with fur on them.
