Aunt Katy has become Ouest’s idol in just two days. It’s all about Katy. She woke up from her nap today calling, “Papa, Papa, Papa,” just like always. But the second I walked in the room she switched over to, “Katy? Katy? Katy?”

It’s great of course, but has its down side too. Aunt Katy is the one with the iPad, the silly mimicking cat app, and the inability to say no. Before Ali and I knew what was happening Ouest was walking through the house with a case-free iPad in her hands. She of course dropped it on the kitchen floor, at which point we decided that was probably enough funny cat apps. Cue tantrum number one.

Number two came at nap time the next day. Nap time unfortunately coincided with Katy’s arrival home from work. Suddenly Ouest went from sleepy to, “No sleepy. No sleepy!”

And number three came when she couldn’t go on a five mile walk with Katy and her dog a half an hour before bed time.

Basically any bad behavior from Ouest this month we are going to directly attribute to Aunt Katy.
