Race Across America

In the summer of 2007 Ali and I participated in
the 25th anniversary running of
The Great Race.

Ali and I raced well and took first place in the Rookie division
and 14th overall out of a field of 70 vintage cars.

We raced our 1965 Porsche 356C
which has a lot of family history,
having been the very car that I took my first ride in
back in 1974 at the ripe old age of one month.

The car performed great last year as we drove
nearly 9000 miles around the country in about six weeks time.
